Business history

Software development - Netpractise

In 2013, Netpractise, a digital signage provider became part of the TEW Engineering Group who were their partner delivering Operational Information Systems to over 400No screens in Train Stations for Network Rail. The resulting acquisition enabled the business to deliver hardware and software sections into a variety of markets previously been managed by Netpractise from their office in Lincoln.

A few years on, L.B Foster Netpractise is a larger business, staffed by skilled developers and project managers from new offices in Lincoln, and are also enabled with its development arm in India. L.B. Foster Netpractise’s portfolio now include more than Digital Media solutions and have a supporting asset management & maintenance solution called the “Anatomy Suite”. Its solutions now look after assets in over 200,000 community association houses in UK; deliver media to screen in Bank of China branches, manage queues in Virgin ticket offices and much more.
