Interactive displays & kiosks

A touch screen kiosk is an interactive experience for the user. Kiosks will generally have an capacitive touch screen display and L.B. Foster software solutions will guide the user through menus and intuitive actions giving them the information they need.

Recent projects have included kiosks for student services at Birmingham University, allowing staff to manage questions remotely thereby filtering their needs to specific discussion points when they arrive in front of a support helper.

Kiosks work best in conjunction with human interactive platforms where simple information needs to be available. This can include retail point of sale, wayfinding, real time information, arrivals/departures etc.
