Our unique British Sign Language (BSL) departures software solution is now installed at Huddersfield and other TransPennine Express(TPE) managed stations across the north of England.
L.B. Foster is proud to be rolling out this innovative software solution which translates train departure announcements into BSL, providing Deaf passengers and customers with accessible travel information that can give them confidence to travel and to make educated decisions.
London Euston was the first ever UK railway station to feature our BSL departures software solution that takes Customer Information System (CIS) feeds for stations across the network and translates the contents into BSL. Our Inform Content software takes the live departures data and displays the name of the destination alongside the platform and departure time.
Our unique BSL departures software provides the deaf community with timely access to critical travel information.
