Delivering critical information to airport passengers with Inform

With global airline passenger numbers expected to double to 8.2 billion by 2037, according to the IATA, increasing pressure on airport infrastructure requires ever smarter ways to deliver information to travellers, when and where it is needed.

With this increasing demand and international passenger numbers continuing to build following the lifting of COVID travel restrictions, many UK airports are now focusing investment on delivering critical travel information that improves the overall customer experience. Adding credence to this was a Transport Focus report in July 2021 that stated information screens play an essential role in guiding customers on their journeys.

So how does Inform Media and Screens support this new passenger experience aspiration?

Our flexible platform allows a library of information pages to be presented to passengers, targeted at different screens depending on their location and function.

Inform Media in Air Travel environments provide a whole range of applications to help the traveller and air operator. These include:

  • Dynamic wayfinding
  • Dynamic service updates
