World class software solutions

Our reputation for excellence in smart software solutions is what sets us apart from our competition.

Our specialist digital information and software solutions provide essential intelligence that keeps critical infrastructure moving

We are experts in inspirational technology innovations that enhance operational performance and deliver peace of mind. We have a raft of experience creating value-added solutions for the rail sector, although the flexibility of our software enables it to be repurposed for similar applications in different markets.

Customer Information

As part of L.B. Foster Europe, our legacy and heritage are firmly placed in the rail sector. Our software designers and engineers work in collaboration with L.B. Foster Europe’s Telecoms and Control & Display divisions, creating intelligent solutions that drive performance. We deliver customer flow management for Virgin Trains, provide disruption management information for MTR Crossrail, influence customer journeys at Birmingham New Street with our Customer Information Systems and guide commuters on their journeys at St Pancras.

  • We installed our Operational Information System on 77 stations for Network Rail ahead of the London Olympics

  • Our Customer Flow Management System for Virgin Trains at Birmingham New Street station is used by over 2000 passengers per day

  • Hundreds of passengers at Birmingham New Street station check for train times on our interactive passenger information display system each day

  • Liberty Group field operatives now use our Fingerprint asset maintenance software solution helping thousands of housing customers

Our software solutions are about teasing out useful data that helps identify important improvements for businesses and customers.

Asset Maintenance

Asset maintenance is an issue for a wide range of businesses - from fleet owners and bus companies to housing associations and developers, as well as construction companies, hotels and offices.

Fingerprint is our inspirational new asset maintenance software solution. It provides base level root cause analysis for engineers and managers. Real-time data logging delivers valuable intelligence on asset performance, informing decisions that streamline working practices, reduce costs and increase return on investment.

Fingerprint’s applications include a major bus operating company, where it was used by mechanics to record vehicle repairs and maintenance. In the housing sector, Fingerprint is used by a housing association to record details of property repairs. This enables assigned engineers to arrive equipped with a full maintenance history, which informs decisions and identifies potential behaviours and actions to reduce call-outs.

More
Our software solutions are used widely in finance, transit, the public sector and healthcare. We make life easier, helping you check train times, directing you around your local hospital or finding your place in the queue.

We create the software driving information displays, digital signage, customer flow and disruption management systems that you see all around you. Then we collaborate with our group businesses to develop robust, wireless, mobile and static products that present and protect our software.

Our modern metalwork and fabrication facilities are busy manufacturing housings, fixings, bracketry - in fact, anything that our designers ask them to! This alignment of software development and manufacturing puts us in the perfect position to imagine, design, manufacture, commission, test and maintain all of our solutions.
